Chivimba Mziyamba, a civil engineering student at the Tshwane University of Technology, was one of the beneficiaries of the Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation.
Actress Nomzamo Mbatha was distraught after writing a message of condolence rather than congratulations to one of the beneficiaries of the Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation.
“I am sad that this is not your graduation article,” Mbatha wrote. “I am sad that I will not be with you at the summit, Chivimba. But I am sure that you will be free from the pain, worries and burdens of this world.”
Chivimba Mziyamba, a civil engineering student at the Tshwane University of Technology, was one of the beneficiaries of Mbatha's foundation, but the academic and content creator has passed away.
The Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation was founded by the actress in 2015 and the foundation's work is inspired by the plight of South Africa's most vulnerable and marginalised people.
The Foundation focuses on three pillars: education, youth empowerment and food security.

Gone too soon
The cause of Mujamba's death is still unknown, but he tweeted on June 7 that “I gave all my love.”

A few days earlier, some of his posts were accepting, while others were cryptic.
In his post, Mbata said Mujamba had succumbed to deep pain and suffering.
“This is so unfair as he never had a bone or a will to give up. He inspired everyone around him and had incredible confidence and fighting spirit,” Mbatha wrote.
“But I am certain. You are free from the pain and worries and burdens of this world. Those left behind are not free from the pain and questions you left behind. You were far more worthy, far more loved physically. And there are many who would have held your hand in the fight for your life.”
