In some cultures, the number three is considered lucky and in some religions, the number represents divine perfection, and it looks like DSTV Delicious Festival has got its luck on its hands as it announces the three main headliners for this year's festival.
Janet Jackson, Jill Scott and Thandiswa Mazwai have been announced as headliners for this year's Delicious Festival.
Earlier this year, the festival put out a call to audiences asking who they wanted to see perform at the music and food festival, and reactions to the line-up announcement suggested that many South Africans were happy with the line-up.

The theme of the 11th festival is “Celebrating 30 Years of Creative Freedom,” paying tribute to 30 years of South African democracy with a lineup that reflects the country's musical progress over the past 30 years.
Saturday's “30 Years of Creative Freedom Show” will feature old school music groups such as Boom Shaka, Okmalumkoolkat, Focalistic, Cassper Nyovest and Morafe.

Featured guests on Sunday will be Jill Scott, Shava and the Soweto Gospel Choir.
On Sunday there will be another 30 Years of Creative Freedom show, this time fronted by music icons Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse, Yvonne Chaka Chaka and former Freshly Ground member Zolani Mahola, who now performs under the name The One Who Sings.
Poet Mzwakhe Mbuli Snr will also be making an appearance on the day and interestingly, his name is listed as “snr” on the line-up because his son, Mzwakhe Mbuli Jnr, popularly known as Robot Boi, will be performing on Saturday.
