Great lineup
The event, hosted by Somizi Mhlongo and Moozly, will feature some of Mzansi's top artistes, including Molda, Young Stana, Focalistic, Nadia Nakai and Kabza De Small.
Zinhle said she chose many of her favourite artists because she too was looking to create a memorable experience.
“I chose artists who have influenced my life and who I love. I can't believe the lineup is like this.”
“My career is built on women's empowerment
She said women's empowerment was a central theme of the event, which influenced the decision to hold it on International Women's Day.
“I feel like my whole career has been built on female empowerment, finding a space for me and other women, and nurturing Era and female DJs, which is very important to me.”
“You can see a lot of female DJs doing well now and I feel like everything I've ever done has always been built on a foundation of female empowerment, which is why hosting the event on the night of International Women's Day makes so much sense.”
Despite her enthusiasm, Zinhle admitted she was nervous about whether the event would be a success.
“I was so scared that it wouldn't happen or that people wouldn't believe in it, but I'm so glad we were able to put this lineup together. There are people who I wanted to be in the lineup but can't make it on the day, but I think this lineup is amazing.”
