Contributing to the sustainable development of Africa
The musician added that the goal is to provide young African leaders with essential tools and opportunities in technology.
“Our goal is to develop their skills so that they can work on development projects in their communities and contribute to sustainable development in Africa. We want to help them grow and in return help their communities.”
As for what prompted him to start his foundation, Patoranking said he was motivated by his own personal experiences.
“This started with a personal promise to God that if I were to reach my current position, I would help those in need. Having experienced financial adversity, I understand what it means to feel scarce.”
“Initially, we helped quietly, but over the years, our team and friends advised us to make it a formal endeavor to broaden our reach.”
He acknowledged that balancing a successful music career with his charitable work isn't easy.
“Whenever the Foundation needs me, I am available. I take each day as it comes. Foundation conversations happen frequently during my music business, so I am able to effectively balance both aspects.”
