Over the weekend, Makhadzi wrote a letter of apology to those who were offended by the dress she will wear to the 2024 Games in Durban in July.
The annual event, held in Durban last weekend, showcased a range of beauty and fashion statements from some of South Africa's biggest names.
While some of the outfits impressed social media users, a few others left a bad impression.
It seems Makhazi did not continue with her flamboyant fashion statement as some people laughed at the outfit.
Reacting to the comments on social media, the Limpopo-born singer took to his social media accounts to apologise.
The BET Award-winning musician said the dress was a last-minute decision and she wasn't able to plan anything extravagant.
Makhazi was not offended by the ridicule and joined in the laughter.
“So I've been laughing at myself all day. I was supposed to pose like this and post it and no one noticed these curves because they're not curved. When I get to Johannesburg I'm getting designer Kavuhe Aho Relocator Shem from Kenya, Oloma Designer. LOL LOL LOL.”
“Zonzo, brother, you tried to show me a pose but it seems you were afraid to say that this dress doesn't suit me. I want to apologize to the designer for asking me for a dress at the last minute. After I won the bet, I was going to stay in America for a week but I had to change my mind because the paparazzi didn't come and I couldn't survive.”
“Plus, no one can push my one-woman show forward without me. But your comments made me cry last night. I'm still upset. Please say I'm sorry,” she wrote.
