Kabelo Motsamai, popularly known as Prince Kaybee, has rejected an offer to emigrate to Nigeria.
The South African musician gained even more Nigerian fans this week after supporting Miss South Africa contestant Chidinma, who has Nigerian roots.
The contestant has been subjected to cyberbullying, with some Mzansi social media users calling on organisers to disqualify her.Amid the confusion, Kaybee said she wanted a woman to win, further taunting him.
On Thursday, Twitter users called on Prince Kaybee to move to Nigeria, but he blatantly refused, saying he has no family or job there.
“I was born in South Africa and have no family in Nigeria. I have children here. My mother is still alive but is sick and needs me. I also work in South Africa. Why are you telling me to move to Nigeria?” the DJ wrote.
I was born in South Africa but I don't have any family in Nigeria. I have children here too. My mother is still alive but she is sick and needs me. I also work in South Africa. Why do you recommend me to move to Nigeria? ❤️ https://t.co/qxk5ebmh8J

The response sparked further conversation on his timeline, with some Twitter users criticizing him in the comments.
I just disagree with you. We don't have to agree on everything and it doesn't make me a lesser South African if I don't.
