The businessman is said to owe R100,000 in rent debts.
Drip Footwear founder Lekau Sehoana has denied recent claims made by his estranged wife and son that he was evicted from his home for unpaid rent.
It was reported last week that Sehoana's wife and son were evicted from their apartment in June after he was unable to pay the R35,000-a-month rent and his debts rose to R100,000.
Drip's founders later issued a statement regarding the reports.

He said he has taken note of the report and wants to clarify that “this article is factually incorrect and intended to distract public attention from Drip's fifth anniversary.”
Sehoana said he has not been living with his “soon to be ex-wife” since 2021, adding: “I am not able to see my son. I was renting out the property to my soon to be ex-wife to provide a home for our son.”
He said he terminated the lease after he found out his “soon-to-be ex-wife” was renting the house to someone else.
“We were previously notified by the landlord that police are seeking access to the property to assist in the investigation into the murder of former Drip MD, Glenda Ndlange.
“When police arrived at the property they discovered she had sub-let the property to someone I didn't know without my or the landlord's consent, which is a complete breach of the rental agreement.”
Sehoana also revealed that divorce proceedings are underway with his estranged wife.
He added: “Several attempts have been made to reconcile and expedite the divorce but to no avail. My legal representatives have advised me not to make any further comments or statements regarding the divorce or any other matters pertaining thereto.”
Meanwhile, Lekau's estranged wife, Lebogang Lekau, said: Jimoja The woman who sued over the eviction also accused the businessman of neglecting his duties as a father, which led to her obtaining an order to pay child support.
“We are tired of Lekau's abuse, lies and tricks. At this very moment his son is homeless, not going to school, has nothing to eat and no clothes to wear. He even has a court order to pay child support and take responsibility but he has not done so for years,” Lebogang said. Jimoja.
