DJ Sbu has faced criticism after releasing a video with Miss South Africa finalist Chidinma Adesina.
Many are calling on Miss South Africa organisers to remove the model from the competition because her father is of Nigerian descent.
Despite all this being said, the organisation did not listen as Mr Chidinma was reported to have met all the requirements.
Mofaya is an official partner of Miss SA 2024, so the competition is meant to promote the brand.
In a recently shared promotional video, Chidinma and DJ Sbu were seen holding Mofaya drinks, sparking uproar on social media as people believed the DJ was supporting the model.
DJ Sbu also follows the beauty queen's Instagram account.
The SBU's show of support has led some Mzansi social media users to call for the cancellation of Mofaya drinks and urge the public to avoid using the brand.
However, the majority of social media users do not support cancel culture.
“No way, I'm going to buy Mofoya but I'm not going to watch it. “@Official_MissSA,” one user wrote.
Because someone doesn't agree with you and wants to blacklist him🤣😂🤣😂
