Mapes Maponyane has responded to reports that have surfaced on social media about his alleged marriage.
After dating former Miss South Africa, Tshudphazo Msida, for a few months, the pair are set to get married soon, TshishaLIVE reports.
Maponyane said she was shocked when she found out about her marriage on Twitter and insisted she was unaware.
“Imagine what it would be like to find out I'm getting married through Twitter,” he tweeted.
Mapps' response has garnered a lot of attention, with Twitter users claiming he was faking it.
The influencer recalled how Cassper Nyovest tried to fool South Africans with the same ploy.
“Even Casper Niobest was this shocked by the Plane incident, that's for sure,” wrote a Twitter user.
