Lady Do has penned a tribute to Bontle Modiselle following her film debut alongside Kwesta.
Netflix's Amapiano love story, Piano Love, will premiere this August.
Do shared the cover of the film on Instagram, captioning it with a tribute and praise for the choreographer.
“As today is Women's Month, I want to congratulate Piano on a business class flight to the woman who has taken our music to the world through dance, the most amazing human ever, @bontle.modiselle. I'm happy you are the face of this film. I appreciate your efforts in promoting our music through dance. You never asked for anything from us and I want to say this is God's reward for all the efforts you have put in,” she wrote.
Mrs Doe further thanked other dancers for promoting Amapiano music and extended her gratitude to Kwesta and the producers of the film.
“This is a message to all the dancers whose efforts to make us musicians trendy went unappreciated and unnoticed. Kwesta, you deserve all the praise. You are the true definition of kwaito, an African voice that we all recognise who revived kwaki and made it cool. @mandla_n I believe in your work. Thank you for sharing this with the world!!!!! Piano fans, you better support our people.”
