Family and friends gathered to celebrate the extraordinary life of legendary actress Connie Chiume.
Memorial Ceremony Black Panther Starr's ceremony is currently being held at Oasis of Life Family Church in Daveton.
Chiume died last Tuesday at Garden City Hospital at the age of 72.
Her funeral will also be held at 8am on Thursday at Oasis of Life Family Church in Daveyton, according to a family statement.

Chiume is widely praised for his impact on the entertainment industry.
She began her acting career with memorable roles in internationally acclaimed productions such as; Porgy and Bess, Ipi Ntombiand Little Shop of Horrors.
In the late 80s and early 90s, she played the role of Thembi in the 1989 series. Incom Edora Yodwa Starred in the 1990 film Hell's Warrior.
Her brilliant performance earned her the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA) Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2000.
Chiume gained widespread recognition again when she played the role of Stella Molloy in the SABC1 drama series from 2007 to 2015. Zone 14and secured a new SAFTA.
In 2018, she played the lead role of Zawavari. Black Panther And a sequel in 2022.
In 2020, Chiume played Mamsonto Molefe in the drama series Gomorrah and also appeared in Beyonce's film. Black is King.
Soweto Theatre will be honouring Kiume by dedicating a star to him at their Celebration of Our Legends event in September this year.
