Chidinma Adesina says her superpower is diversity
This was Chidona Vanessa Onwe Adesina's first message on social media since arriving in Nigeria.
The model left the Miss South Africa pageant to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, creating quite a stir on social media.
Upon arriving in Nigeria, Chidona Adesina spoke about her superpower and how she hopes to continue preaching about the need for unity in diversity.
“Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adesina~ My superpower is diversity. An initiative close to my heart is UNITY IN DIVERSITY 🤝🏿❤️ which aims to promote inclusion and acceptance. By being inclusive, we give people a sense of belonging regardless of their background, identity or abilities. Inclusion is about recognising that differences make us stronger and everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect,” she wrote.
“Inclusion is about embracing differences and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. It's about breaking down barriers and challenging our ways of thinking. Let's build bridges not walls. Let's unite not divide. Let's show the world what it means to be African, proud and free. Let's achieve greatness together. Together we can build a brighter future for ourselves, our children and our continent,” Chidinma added.
