South African rapper Saudi has spoken out against xenophobia with a powerful message for his fellow South Africans.
The rapper took to social media to express his views on the importance of unity and solidarity across the African continent.
“Xenophobia must go. Let us love, protect and respect our Mzansi. But let us not be African only in exile. Africa, we are one,” Saudi passionately declared in his post.
His words are a strong call for an end to xenophobic attitudes and actions, and urge South Africans to embrace their fellow Africans regardless of their nationality.
The Saudi message came amid a heated exchange between South Africans and Nigerians that has been ongoing for over a month, sparked by former Miss South Africa finalist, Chidinma Vanessa Onwe Adesina.
However, the rapper's tweet was not well received by the majority of his followers.
