Emtee lays the truth out on his KO single Too Much featuring Nasty C .
The rap song was released last week and attracted attention when Mr Cash Time revealed that he originally wanted to feature EmTee on it.
“I recorded that f****** conversation and sent it to Emtee and I can ask him to send me screenshots of the conversation between him and my manager.
“The reason this song finally came out this year is because I had a ton of songs ready for my album that was supposed to come out last year. I was going to send this song to Emtee but it didn't work out. This year UMG was ready to release it to Skhanda so I sent them this song. Of course Nasty is on it and I'm grateful to his team, he's on it and it's on the charts today, August 16th. What are you talking about?” KO said.
Emtee explained on Twitter that he didn't turn down the feature, but rather that he apparently recorded his verse but didn't receive any response from KO's team.
“For the record, I have not turned down any features. I got the beat, recorded it and never heard back from anyone. Obviously they didn't put any effort into the verses so how dare they say such arrogant things to ruin my reputation. Can't people survive without writing verses?”
