South Africans have launched a heart-warming campaign to raise R100,000 to bring Miss Universe Nigeria finalist Ufa Dania to the country.
The Nigerian model who was crowned Miss Kwara in the contest received immense love from Nigerians for her uniqueness.
The initiative was launched five days ago by Twitter (now X) users who were huge fans of her, having voted her into the top three at the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
“We are thrilled to support Ufa Dania's journey in the Miss Nigeria Universe beauty pageant. Her charm and vibrant personality has won our hearts and as the South African X community, we are excited to welcome her to our country and give her an unforgettable experience whilst showcasing the beauty of South Africa,” said campaign organiser Reginald Mathur Kganyane.
Meanwhile, Dania expressed her gratitude to the South African people who supported her.
“Thank you to everyone who voted for me. God bless you with all my heart. You have shown me love. I couldn't do this without you. South Africans, half brothers and sisters. Where did you find me? I barely had mobile phones in the camp so I had no idea I was being talked about. I'm so grateful to everyone in South Africa and all other countries who supported me on this journey. Your money was not wasted. It definitely went to good use. God bless you. Please fly me to South Africa right now,” she said.
