Andile Mpisane is facing backlash following the Royal Am's football match against Cape Town City FC.
The two football clubs faced off this weekend, finishing in a 1-1 draw.
The Royal AM chairman became a trending topic on social media as people reacted to the match, especially his footballing skills.
While some reacted to Andile's team's refusal to pass the ball to him, others praised his performance on the pitch.
“If Andile Mpisane wants to seriously pursue football he should go to another club with strict discipline, not strut around like the ball owner on a gravel field. He's not bad at all,” wrote a Twitter user.
Whoever convinced Andile Mpisane to play football should be arrested

People were shocked when Andile Mpisane joined the Royal Am. They have been under a FIFA transfer ban for two seasons and are lucky he is one of the few players still registered and trying to stay fit. This is more out of desperation than any attempt to please the manager.

Aowa, I hope Royal AM get relegated this season. The fact that they are using Andile Mpisane in the starting line-up shows they are not taking this season seriously.

Apart from the corners Andile Mpisane hasn't touched the ball but he is supposed to be the Msisi of this team 😭 pic.twitter.com/61acHSjg2h

If Andile Mpisane wants to play so much, he should take his weight training and running seriously because he is a burden to his team. He needs to run and defend, run and attack, and also make an effort to scan the surroundings. He needs to prove himself, so I think he should work harder. #SSDisc
