Death of Quan
Quan's cause of death is believed to be a drug overdose. According to multiple international reports, his girlfriend, Amber Williams, found him unresponsive on the sofa after returning home from dropping off their son at school and called 911.
Doctors said they could not detect a heartbeat or see the son breathing, and noticed foam around his mouth when they turned him over.
Williams also reacted to Quan's death on her Instagram Story, writing, “The trauma of that moment will stay with me forever. The love for my other half was always on display. There was nothing to hide.”
“Our house is no longer a home and I am truly saddened. It's been 15 years and I will never feel the same again,” she wrote.
New Music
Meanwhile, Makwa said he is currently working on his next album, exploring a new sound that goes beyond his hip-hop roots.
“I'm working on an Amapiano album. You all know me as a hip-hop producer and rapper so I want to explore different genres. I'm not leaving hip-hop but I want to experiment with different sounds,” he explained.
