South African podcaster Penuel Mlotshwa has courted controversy after supporting Sean Combs, better known as Diddy.
The American music mogul was arrested on Monday and charged with three counts of sexual offences: extortion, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.
Penuel took to Twitter to slam Diddy for being so quick to condemn him without believing that he may be innocent of the crime.
“No one thinks that Diddy is innocent and could be framed. He creates jobs, makes billionaires, pays millions in taxes, donates to charity, raises strong kids, writes hit songs… and yet is so easily vilified by the public.”
“Most of the allegations seem to involve adults making personal decisions to engage in debauchery. I don't care if he's innocent or guilty, but I don't see why anyone would expect him to be snared with 789 dildos and 1000 bottles of baby oil. He needs to continue to polish his public persona.”
Penuel also questioned the silence of celebrities and victims of crime.
The main questions are:
Why now???
Why has everyone remained silent until now???
Why did Cathy choose money over justice?
Why aren't other celebrities being questioned?
