Actor and dancer Hungani Ndlovu Tropica Treasure Island Season 11, which premiered on SABC 3 last Saturday, is no easy feat.
Ndlovu appears on the popular reality show alongside former Miss SA Ndavi Nokeli, social media star Chad Jones and TV presenter Roxy Berger.
The award-winning series, which first aired in 2008, follows South African celebrities and contestants on a luxurious island as they battle through a variety of challenges to win the grand prize of R1 million.

“It was a better experience than I expected. I thought the process would be frustrating, but in the end I felt uplifted and confident,” he said.
As this was Ndlovu's first time participating in a reality show competition, he admitted how different it was from his usual acting roles.
“Being myself was a unique experience, but the team created a great environment for me to be myself while making great television,” he added.
Hungani Ndlovu talks about challenges and obstacles
Ndlovu said he faced several obstacles during the competition, including nearly drowning during the challenge.
“The most difficult thing about this competition for me was the unpredictability of the obstacles. You train for what you think is there, but Tropica Treasure Island It's something else.
“Most of the tasks were completely different from what I had prepared for. Every task was a surprise and it was difficult to understand them as I progressed. I almost drowned in some tasks and I was so busy. is.”
Mr Ndlovu offered advice to future contestants, stressing the importance of preparation.
“Look at this season and multiply it by 5. Whatever you do in training, it only gets harder, so double it.
“It's going to be tough for the contestants, but for the viewers, the excitement only grows as the season progresses.”
