South African media personality Anele Mdoda is facing huge backlash after joining the Women for Change organization to cancel Chris Brown's concert.
The American star visited South Africa in December this year and sold out a two-day concert in two hours.
The aforementioned organizations have called on Chris' past record as an abuser to be reviewed and for South Africans to sign a petition to cancel the musician's concerts.
Mzansi is divided over the petition. While many signed the petition, others expressed their support for the music star.
Chris Brown jumped on the post and dismissed the threat, saying, “I can't wait for it to come.”
Reacting to Brown's comments, Anele Mdoda said, “I wasn't going to comment on this Chris Brown saga because I think people should do what they want with their money, but this is terrible.” I wrote.
Anele's tweet came under fire from social media users, who criticized her through her friend Somizi Mhlongo, who hit the headlines over sexual assault allegations.
“Those who protest must also protest at their uncle's house. In a country where GBV happens every day, I'm sure there are people who know an abuser closer to home than Chris Breezy,” the tweet commented. .
“Isn't Anele friends with Somizi who also abused boys???” another user asked.
“All I see is selective violence against women in South Africa. If you're going to boycott the abusers, you have to boycott them all,” Tweep wrote.

We are rooting for our brother Chris Brown during this difficult time.
Anele is friends with her abuser and convicted sex offender Somizi Mhlongo, but she is against Chris Brown coming to SA.
