TitoM and Yuppe are nominated alongside some of South Africa's best artists such as Tyla and DBN Gogo.
Amapiano artists Bongani Sibanyoni (Yuppe) and Tato Matobela (TitoM) have earned their first MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) nominations.
The duo is known for their Amapiano hits such as: twala bum, Influfecoand Impilo Yakowas nominated in the Best African Act category.
TitoM and Yuppe are nominated alongside SA's finest players Tyla and DBN Gogo, as well as Nigerian stars Asake, Ayra Starr and Tanzanian sensation Diamond Platinumz.

He added: “It's something we didn't expect and it's like a dream. We're grateful for the opportunity.
“I hope this appointment will give us the recognition we need.”
He also expressed his gratitude to their loyal fans who have always shown love and support throughout their musical journey.
“I'm grateful to them. I love and appreciate each of them. I would like to thank each and every one of them if I could.
“I pray that they continue to support us, because without them we are nothing.”
TitoM also revealed that he plans to release an EP in November, adding, “I promise, it's going to be amazing.”

Tyra shines with multiple MTV EMA nominations
Meanwhile, South African superstar Tyra has bagged numerous MTV EMA nominations this year.
In addition to her nomination for Best African Act, Tyra also received nominations in three further categories: Best New, Best Afrobeats and Best R&B.
In the Best R&B category, Tyra will compete against renowned international artists SZA, Kehlani, Tinashe, Usher, and Victoria Monet.
In the Best Newcomer category, he is nominated alongside up-and-coming talent Ira Starr, Chapel Lawn, LE SSERAFIM, Benson Boone, The Last Dinner Party, and Teddy Swims.
In the Best Afrobeats category, she will be up against Asake, Burna Boy, Rema, Ayra Starr and Tems.
The 2024 MTV EMA winners will be announced at the main event on November 10th in Manchester, UK.
