Klein Paradise premieres this Thursday…
KikunetThe long-awaited lifestyle reality show, Klein Paradiseis scheduled to premiere on Thursday, October 24th.
Hosted by experienced presenter Robbie Kruse, the series includes Tuis Editor-in-Chief Wikus Pretorius, Saxon Hotels CEO of Housekeeping Magdalena Bobotoni, social media DIY star Jessica Pieters and more. Expert judges will also appear.
The series sees six teams compete for a R1-million prize to transform empty micro-units into luxury five-star accommodation in just four weeks.
Each week, participants will be challenged to complete a different section of a microhome, showcasing their design skills and resourcefulness.
Jessica Peters, one of the show's judges, told The Citizen that she enjoyed watching the contestants progress throughout the competition.
“Some of the most memorable moments were just watching the team bring their vision to life in each phase, whether it was a beautifully designed bathroom or a DIY project.
“You could actually see the ‘aha’ moment for each team. They were like, ‘Oh, this is going to be amazing!'” DIY comes to life, out-of-the-box ideas It was incredible to be able to think outside the box,” she said.
Jessica added that she hopes the show will inspire viewers to try their own DIY projects.
“I want people to feel so empowered and inspired that they literally want to tear out their kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms and start over. I hope you find inspiration in trying new things and just hope for the best.
“I hope people enjoy this show as much as I enjoyed it,” she said.

Participants of Klein Paradies
Among the contestants are Mika, a 23-year-old architectural designer from Durbanville, and her partner Janie, a 36-year-old entrepreneur from Paarl.
Another notable duo is Alicia, an interior decorator from Bloemfontein, and her sister Claudia, a tattoo artist.
The rest of the dynamic team includes close friends Juan Rui and Erli from Potchefstroom, business consultant Claas and beauty salon owner Yvette from Pretoria East, and husband and wife team Maggie and Jerry from Durbanville, and their in-laws. Includes Johan and Leigh Anne.
Brant Bester, a carpenter and founder of BB Craft School, will serve as project manager and teach contestants the technical aspects of woodworking.
