Sian Bougie says she's not a prostitute
South African DJ and influencer Cyan Boujee caused controversy after a video of him talking about relationships and finances went viral on social media.
In the video, Sian clarified that she has no intention of selling her body and prefers to date men who can afford her lifestyle. She described high-maintenance and expensive companions like expensive wigs, designer clothes, and other luxury items.
The influencer said she is not a prostitute and is not cheap and her demands are justified.
Sian also declared herself to be “table” in love, claiming that men must meet her standards or else walk away.
Her comments sparked widespread reaction, with critics accusing her of repackaging prostitution.
“Why would they try to appear so superficially that they are commercial sex workers? Just own it and keep moving,” one social media user commented.
“This prostitute doesn't even know she's a prostitute,” added another.
Some questioned her logic, with one user writing, “Why do people say things like that and still feel like they're saying something different?”
