Miss SA Mia le Roux will be attending this year's Cape Town Fashion Week wearing a Miss Universe gown.
If Miss South Africa, Mia le Roux, is worried that the lovely outfit she wore for the Miss Universe pageant will be wasted on an insignificant day after she withdraws from the pageant. If so.
Having the opportunity to wear a gown at Cape Town Fashion Week (CTFW) eased those fears.
“I am very excited to announce that I will be showcasing my ethnic costumes and evening dresses at Cape Town Fashion Week,” said Le Roux.
Le Roux will appear on the runway at CTFW's The Edit Spring Summer 24, showing off her Miss Universe national costume and other evening gowns she would have worn at the pageant.

Resignation from Miss Universe
The 28-year-old abruptly withdrew from the recent Miss Universe pageant in Mexico, citing a battle with vertigo.
“Many of you have probably seen the video about Vertigo that I made when I was in Mexico for Miss Universe,” she said from the contest, which was ultimately won by Denmark's Victoria Kjær Teilvig. He said in a statement on social media announcing his resignation.
“Vertigo is a condition in which you feel dizzy and as if the world is spinning around you.”

Dresses will shine over time
During her farewell before leaving for Mexico in October, Ms. Le Roux showed off some of the outfits created by Africa Fashion International (AFI) for her to wear while in Mexico.
Discovered by Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe in 2007, AFI has been a catalyst for the advancement of African fashion. AFI is the official fashion sponsor of Miss South Africa 2024 under the Motsepe Group.
At the farewell party held at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton, only two costumes by AFI Atelier designers were unveiled.
“We have spent countless hours on these two unique and stunning pieces, and we can't wait to wear them with pride and share the stories behind them with the rest of the world,” said Le Roux. averred.
AFI's Moloi-Motsepe said AFI was proud to support Le Roux in this way.

One of the gowns that Le Roux will wear was created in collaboration with Esther Mahlangu and brought to life by AFI Atelier artisans and designers under the guidance of AFI Creative Designer and industry expert Gavin Raja. It was instilled.
