Advances in technology have led to the rapid growth of podcasting around the world, especially in places where there was little access.
“Africa is one of the fastest growing podcast markets in the world,” said John Savage, founder of Africa Podcast Network.
“Thanks to changes in on-demand media, advancements in mobile, and major investments from platforms like Spotify and Apple, we have caught up incredibly quickly. The future of podcasting in Africa is incredible. APN is at the forefront of this revolution.”
APN offers a suite of services that connect brands with Africa's diverse audiences.
The organization hosted a masterclass last week to showcase why podcasting is the buzz of the future and why Africa is playing a key role in the global podcasting landscape.
During the session, Savage touched on things like return on investment (ROI) and demonstrated how podcasting offers measurable benefits compared to social media.
