In a legal letter to the paper, Maake's lawyer demanded an immediate retraction and an apology.
They said the actor had not consented to the release of his personal medical information.
The letter states in part: “Subject writers and acting editors have an affirmative duty to disclose such personal relationships with their clients and cannot reasonably refrain from participating in any stage of the development of such defamatory articles. It was expected.''
“We hereby request you to immediately retract the entire content of the article in its next publication on December 15, 2024, and the falsehoods detailed in paragraph 2 above and/or and other electronic versions thereof.”
