American singer and actress Selena Gomez has officially announced her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco.
The couple went public with their relationship in December last year and have since shared several heartwarming moments on social media.
Sharing the engagement news on Instagram Thursday morning, Gomez posted a photo showing off her dazzling engagement ring.
“Eternity begins now,” she wrote in the caption of the photo.

“We always try to protect what we have, but there are no rules. I want him to always be himself. I always want to be myself.
“I have never been so loved. He was just a light. A complete light in my life. He is my best friend. I love telling him everything,” she wrote in the publication told things.
She also spoke about the difficulties she had in trying to have a child due to medical complications.
“I've never said this before, but unfortunately I can't have a child of my own. I have a lot of medical issues that could put my life and my baby's life at risk.”

During a conversation about mental health on YouTube with Miley Cyrus, Gomez revealed that she has bipolar disorder.
Gomez added that being well-informed about her mental health issues has helped her deal with them.
“When I learned more information, it actually helped me. Once I know it, I'm not scared, but I think people are scared of it.”
