Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini said all arrangements were in place for the party's third electoral conference, officially called the National People's Congress.
Parliament has reached a critical juncture for the EFF, as the group is experiencing challenges within the party.
Mr Dlamini said the Red Berets were ready to start the meeting and Commander-in-Chief Julius Malema would deliver the party's political report.
Mr Dlamini said the EFF conference's public sessions will be live-streamed. Malema faces little opposition and is widely expected to secure a third term as party leader.
Earlier, EFF Treasurer Onfir Maotwe said the registration of delegates to the party's national electoral conference was progressing steadily. Mr Maotwe said the process in some states had already been completed.
Some 2,200 delegates are expected to attend the party's National People's Congress, which will be held at the University of Johannesburg's Soweto campus from Friday.
Maotwe said no incidents occurred during the registration process.
“All the systems are working. It's going very smoothly. It looks like you're tagging too. Everyone is tagging today. We're registering both delegates and guests. Tomorrow is the opening of the meeting at Nasrec. Registration closes today. The President and the Commander-in-Chief will also be here later today, just to see the preparations. We plan to take him to Nasrec in the future, but so far things are going well.”
