DJ Zinhle's Chris Brown fan moment sparks mixed reactions online
DJ Zinhle (real name Ntombezinhle Jiyane) has openly expressed his admiration for international music star Chris Brown, sparking mixed reactions online.
The American singer arrived in South Africa on Thursday for a two-day concert in Johannesburg, an event that many fans have been looking forward to.
DJ Zinhle shared a light-hearted video on social media in which he joked about how much he missed Chris.
“Guys, Christopher has arrived and I'm not okay. He's here in Joburg and may be staying literally 20 or 30 minutes away from me, but I'm not going to see him. I can't, to be honest, it's not okay,” she said. She playfully added, “Please tell me where he lives so I can go camping outside his hotel.”
Unfortunately, the award-winning DJ revealed that he will not be able to attend Chris Brown's concert due to other commitments.
“I can't go to his show because I'm at work. What if I leave South Africa without meeting Chris Brown?” she lamented. She humorously warned: “If anyone sees him outside the concert and posts about it, I will block him.”
While many found her comments funny, they also drew criticism from some social media users.
One Twitter user commented: “This is proof that women can remain interested in other men even when they're married.” Another added: “Imagine marrying someone who invites such disrespect… In these humiliating times we stand with Murda Bonds.”
But others came to Zinhle's defense, pointing out that her comments were harmless and mocking.
