Busiswa has written a long and moving eulogy for Winnie Khumalo, who passed away earlier this week.
The South African singer shared a photo of the music legend and praised her.
“You've been showing up for yourself since you were 16 years old. You know you're magic, you know you're unstoppable, you know your purpose, you know it's for yourself, for your family, for your brand. I never stopped showing up.”
“You have been amazing and inspired the fighter in me. You have boldly given me the resilience to be the Busiswa that I am today and will continue to be. But Winnie, you live your life to the fullest, and I agree to live my life to the fullest, and you carry on your legacy and treasure your God-given gift of music 🎁 I continued to raise children who became uCul. Your grandson will remember you forever because of your presence and, most importantly, the love you gave him.
Mr Bisiwa also promised the late Winnie's daughter Lethabir Khumalo that he would always check on her.
“We love you. We take it upon ourselves to check you among other fellow musicians, because you have to do right and make your mother proud. You. All her mother wanted was to be a superstar, And you are that superstar, you know what it takes to be a superstar! Your mom set a great example for you and what it takes to reach those heights. It showed me,” the singer wrote to Rethabile.
