Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes says Travis Kelce hasn't changed one bit despite his newfound fame and relationship with Taylor Swift
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes insisted he remains the same despite teammate Travis Kelce's rising fame and relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.
Kelce has been in the spotlight for his relationship with Swift, who has been seen playing in 11 NFL games this season. But Mahomes, a close friend of his who has played with him since 2017, says he still has the same kind-hearted personality he always had.
Kelce has already hosted “Saturday Night Live” and won two Super Bowls. However, thanks to his relationship with Swift, his popularity skyrocketed in 2023, which took his fame to new heights.
Despite that, Mahomes said, “Travis has always been Travis. He's been the center of attention, but he's always been himself and it's been a lot of fun to watch.”

“He's still going to be Travis Kelce. He's still going to walk around the stadium and treat everyone like his best friend. And he's going to be the same every day in the locker room. Nothing has changed.”
Mahomes also talked about his excitement to see Kelce host “Saturday Night Live,” especially since Kelce has been a fan of the show for years. He added: “It was really, really great. It was his dream.
“He knows all the skits of the guys who were on 'Saturday Night Live.' He told me skits from before I was born. I said, 'Trav, I'm just like you. It’s not age, I don’t even know.’” Know who it is. ”
In 2023, Travis Kelce made headlines with his advertising deals with Pfizer and Experian, and registered five trademarks. He trademarked his name, his Instagram username “Kill latrav,” his catchphrase “Alright Nah,” an homage to his jersey number “Flight 87,” and “Kelce's Krunch.”
These trademarks suggest plans for badges, posters, bobbleheads, clothing, and even breakfast cereal. Last year, he launched the cereal “Kelce Krunch” after signing a deal with Hy-Vee.
His catchphrase “Alright Nah” was made popular by his podcast “New Heights” with his brother Jason Kelce. This podcast is popular and Swift's fans tune in regularly to further boost viewership.
Although Kelce's stature has increased by being with Swift, he remains focused on the Chiefs. He scored two key touchdowns and led Kansas City with 75 receiving yards, defeating the Buffalo Bills and advancing to the AFC Championship Game.
Kelce's Chiefs will next face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, January 28th at M&T Bank Stadium. The winner will face either the Detroit Lions or San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl V.
