A post posted on Instagram by aka Keenan Forbes (real name Keenan Forbes) on his last and final birthday dealt yet another heartbreaking blow to grieving fans.
In it, the rapper, who was killed by a hired hitman last year, expressed his excitement about the year ahead.
On Sunday, January 28th, Forbes would have celebrated his 36th birthday. This special day comes a few weeks before the first anniversary of his death.

How AKA celebrated his last birthday
Rewinding the clock, AKA spent his 35th birthday doing what he does best: entertaining his fans.
According to his Instagram account, the award-winning star spent the night and night before his special day performing at Club Montana in Rosebank and Propaganda in Pretoria.
He captioned one post: “It's my birthday today so I know everyone's going to have a blast!”

In photos posted by Montana, Keenan is seen partying up a storm with girlfriend Nadia Nakai and best friend Don Design. The star, who received a bottle of bubbles and a birthday cake, carried the infamous makeshift WWE belt on his shoulder.

Meanwhile, AKA's fans are revisiting a post shared on his birthday last year. Initialization. The rapper thanked his fans for their “kind words and wishes.”
He also posted a photo of something his daughter Cairo baked for him.
Furthermore, he added: “I thank God for another year on this earth. I can't wait to see what he has in store for me in 2023.”
