Woman: “I didn't buy groceries for two years.”
The NYPost reports that a woman named Vivian Tu revealed on her TikTok @YourRichBFF that she goes on six dates a week to avoid grocery bills.
“We went on six dates a week and didn't have to buy groceries for two years,” the store added.
“Between 2016 and 2018, I never bought groceries. I probably saved about $150 (R2,813) a week,” she captioned the post.
She also admitted in an interview with Elite Daily that she made the controversial video “as a joke” and that she “didn't start dating just for food.”
It wasn't until later that she realized that dating while looking for love made it easier financially.
Now I know there are better money-saving strategies, but I don't regret dating.

Social media reacts to women's 624 dates
@Agrumpycomedian: “I'm glad she gave herself Sunday off. Self-love and approval are a must.”
@justredpillme: “And people wonder why men want to use Dutch on a first date.”
@enslaved1s: “Food dates are the worst first dates. When I dated, I only drank coffee on first dates. If there's no atmosphere, you don't have to waste a lot of time waiting for food. No. Also, paying for someone's drink isn't that big of a deal. I wouldn't expect it.”
@AngelaLark66613: “Ladies, stop using men as your meal ticket!” They don't need to feed your lazy fat ass and they don't owe you anything! ”
