The late Anele Neri Tembe was honored at the launch of the library.
The library is located at Durban Women's College in KwaZulu-Natal, where Tembe enrolled in 2017.
The school revealed that the Tembe family had made a significant donation to the library.
“The Tembe family has generously made a generous donation in memory of their beloved daughter Anele.”
“As a nonprofit organization, our resources are limited. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to realizing our dreams,” the school added.
The library opening ceremony was attended by family, friends and other dignitaries.
Anele Tembe was engaged to late rapper Keenan Forbes.
She was staying in a hotel room with her late fiancé when she fell from the balcony of her hotel room at the Pepper Club Hotel in Cape Town.

Last night we celebrated Anele Tembe. It is amazing that Babu Tembe turned a tragedy into such a beautiful and lasting legacy. We will honor Anele and contribute to the education of the next generation. It’s a fitting compliment 🕊️
