Die Antwoord: Is this Yolandi Visser's real mother?
Yolandi Visser's official biography lists the rapper as Henri du Toit, the adopted daughter of a pastor named Ben.

According to this, she was born in Port Alfred. Yolandi later joined The Constructus Corporation and was credited as Anica the Snuffling.
The members then formed MaxNormal.TV, which became The Answer in 2008.
There appear to be few biographical details about the rapper, other than a cryptic “not hired” comment.

An article published in Sarie magazine in 2011 provides answers to the singer's mysterious history.
The headline “We talk to Die Antwoord singer's mother about another child'' is more than a clue to her origins.

According to the article, Mandy Visser is Yolandi's mother, and the same article also states that Yolandi is her real name.
“It doesn't matter what image Die Antwoord has, I know the wonderful child behind Yolandi Visser (her real name),” the article reads.
