AKA and Anele Tembe's story told in book written by Melinda Ferguson
Renowned author and journalist Melinda Ferguson is set to publish a book about the late rapper Keenan, also known as Forbes, and his late girlfriend Anele Tembe.
A book titled, when love kills It will be in stores next week.
Tembe died after falling from the 10th floor of the Pepper Hotel in Cape Town on April 11, 2021, and AKA was killed in Durban on February 10, 2023, along with his friend Thebelo “Tibs” Motsoane. Ta.
The book's description says: “When Love Kills is the story of a hip-hop star whose life unraveled when he began a relationship with 21-year-old Anele Tembe. When he died after a long night of heated discussions, it was revealed in detail that they had been caught up in a toxic spiral of obsession and suspected drug abuse. And violence. Ferguson reviewed the book and spoke briefly about the challenges he experienced while writing it.
