Some of Hillman's most notable alumni have embarked on national tours of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
To celebrate over 35 years of sitcom history, another world They plan to reunite for a 10-city tour across the country spanning HBCUs. Roll call here: Darryl M. Bell (Ron Johnson). Charnelle Brown (Kimberly Reese) Jasmine Guy (Whitley Gilbert Wayne); Kadeem Hardison (Dwayne Wayne) Dawn Lewis (Jaleesa Vinson-Taylor). Cree Summer (Winifred Brooks). Glyn Turman (Colonel Bradford Taylor); and Sinbad (Walter Oakes) will be on tour, and there will be panels and other events.
According to PEOPLE, which first reported the reunion news, the stars will also be joined by producers Debbie Allen and Susan Fails.
The tour kicks off on February 29th at Atlanta University Center, which includes Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, and Morehouse College in Georgia. Other venues include Washington, D.C. (hosted by Howard University) and Montgomery, Alabama (hosted by Alabama State University and Tuskegee University), both of which will be held in April, but no firm date yet. Other locations and dates will be announced soon.
Participation in the tour will help raise money for scholarships, according to the tour's website. “Our mission goes beyond nostalgia,” a statement on the website reads. “We continue to strive to increase awareness and enrollment of HBCUs across the country. By leveraging our star power and cultural influence, another worldWe aim to inspire new generations to choose HBCUs as their home for education. ”

The show ran for six seasons from 1987 to 1993, with Bonet leaving after the first season because she became pregnant with his daughter Zoe Kravitz. (Bill Cosby, the now-disgraced creator of the series, reportedly objected to the idea of a pregnant Denise.)
Other notable cast members include Marisa Tomei (who played Maggie, one of the few white students at the university) and Jada Pinkett Smith, who also left the series after one season.
