In true South African style, you could hear Bafana Bafana singing Igwiho at the top of their lungs in the changing room. This came just before Bafana Bafana defeated Morocco 2-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations (Afcon) at the Stade Laurent Poku on Tuesday.
Social media users flocked to the comments section to hear the harmonious vocals, hoping for the start of the match.

Teboho Mokoena and player of the match Evidence Makgopa scored in the second half to propel Bafana Bafana into the quarter-finals. Sowetan LIVE report. The team is scheduled to play against Cape Verde on Saturday.

Head coach Pitso Mosimane then admitted that Bafana Bafana still need to focus to reach the top of the tournament. Nevertheless, he also admitted that the team deserved to be congratulated on their recent achievements.
“One step at a time. We still have a way to go. Our feet are on the ground, but we can celebrate this hard-won victory,” he said.
