Veteran South African actor Sello Maake Kamcube and his wife Pearl were reportedly involved in a huge argument at a hotel.
While it is common to hear stories of marital disputes, Mr. Cero and his wife appear to have gone beyond lovey-dovey quarrels as they were heard fighting at their accommodation.
The horrific incident happened at the Grahamstown Arts Festival in the Eastern Cape just over a week ago and ended tragically for his wife.
“Pearl was screaming and yelling at Sero and she showed up the next morning with black, swollen eyes and a split lip,” a source told Jimoja.
“The situation is so bad that Mr. Cero left his wife in pain after an argument. We don't know the reason for the recent quarrel.”
Pearl left the hotel and went home without her husband.
“She had to catch a flight back to Georgia on her own and find her way from the airport to her home,” the source said.
Another source claimed that Sello Maake is so trapped in his marriage that he cannot end it.
“Pearl knows him so well and the man feels trapped in that marriage because there are people constantly tearing her down and painting him as the bad guy,” the source added.
There have been rumors of their divorce and reconciliation in recent months, but the lovebirds don't seem to mind the reports.
