Rudy Trapp, the late Adrian Alper's life partner, says he wants him to be remembered as a generous soul.
The director and actor died this week at the age of 51 from complications from tuberculosis.
Talk to citizen Rudy described Adrian as a “kind and gentle man” with unique talent.
“Adrian was a kind, gentle person, extremely talented and never had a harsh word for anyone or anyone,” he said.
Rudy said he wants people to remember Adrian's amazing and generous spirit. Furthermore, he added: “He was an old soul, possessed of wisdom and keen intuition. I want him to be remembered not for worldly goods, but as a generous soul with spirit and time.
“Every day I spent with Adrian was memorable. We laughed a lot. We loved doing crossword puzzles. He was a very discreet person.”

Adrian's journey in the entertainment industry has been diverse and multifaceted, starting as an actor, then working in screenwriting, comedy, presenting, voiceover, and finally venturing into directing.
“He was a dedicated worker and loved acting. It was his passion. Adrian was very intelligent, had a deep, resonant voice, and loved voice work. He studied at Atlantic University in Wales. “I was learning from there,” Rudy said.
Television viewers will fondly remember Adrian's memorable performances in many shows such as: gazlam, 7 deran, generation, Isidingo, Rhythm City, more.
His versatility as an actor also extended to the silver screen, where he made an impression with roles in films such as: seconds, Susanna van Biljonand dorm man.
