Bafana Bafana have secured a spot in next week's Afcon semi-finals after Saturday's nail-biting clash with Cape Verde. And many believe that this proud moment is thanks to PSL club Mamelodi Sundowns and player Ronwen Williams.
The South African national team has reached the final stage for the first time in over 20 years. The team is made up of 10 players from the club, which is owned by billionaire businessman Patrice Motsepe.

Sunset helps SA advance to AFCON semi-finals
On Saturday, February 3, Bafana inched their way into the Afcon semi-finals with a 2-1 penalty shootout.
Motibi Mvala and Teboho Mokoena were instrumental in hitting the back of the net, while goalkeeper and captain Ronwen Williams made four heroic saves against Cape Verde.

On social media, South Carolina football fans were overjoyed to see their team advance to the Afcon semifinals for the first time since 2000.
Some claimed that Bafana's victory was all down to Sundowns' talented players.
