NCC previously said the affected brands are made by the same producer, House of Natural Butters.

The association announced Friday that the resulting guidelines require suppliers or manufacturers to recall products “if they discover that safety has been compromised.”
“We received a notice from Clover…The Commission evaluated the recall and established several inconsistencies with the CPA [Consumer Protection Act],” said.
“The risk of consuming products containing aflatoxins above acceptable levels can lead to health complications such as nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. South African consumers who own recalled products should immediately You must stop taking the product and return the product to the store of purchase for a full refund with or without proof of purchase. ”
Clover said it would respond to a request for comment on NCC's statement later Monday.
