Babes Wodumo loves her husband, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, who passed away in December 2022, dearly.
In a recent social media post, the Gomm singer shared a voice note she sent to the father of her child, Sponge Wodumo on WhatsApp.
As she told her late husband how much she loved him, the sounds of her babies crying wildly could be heard.
Speaking in her native language, isiZulu, the singer said: “I just want you to know one thing, I love you and I always will. I know you didn't want me to cry but I love you. Even though you won't hear this voice note.”
The post comes just days after she celebrated the posthumous birthday of a member of her Big Nuts band.
“Grief can make you feel crazy. One day you're fine and the next you're battling deep waves of emotion. We understand how you feel,” one follower wrote in the comments.
“Please don't rush your recovery and how to recover. May God surround you with love, sister,” Refilwe Modiselle wrote.
A few months ago, Babes Wodumo was rumoured to be in a new relationship with former Amaroto member Zuma.
However, the two musicians have remained silent about the rumors as they are focusing on their own lives.
