Babes Wodumo wants to protect the legacy of her late husband Mampintsha and is calling on those who have unreleased songs by the late singer to release them.
Wodumo revealed that the late music star had worked with various artistes before his death in December 2022.
She named Kabza de Small as one of the people Mampintsha had worked with.
“That was over two years ago, but he still values music, haw Carl!” she said.
“If he wants to release music or send it to me that's up to you, but I'm releasing it on his label as his own. I don't want his legacy to disappear just because people are holding on to his music,” Babes added.
“He spent a lot of time in the studio and people have songs he sang that haven’t been released. Uncro Wendoda “Yami (my husband's music). His kids need it.”
Kabza confirmed the song's existence and revealed that he had promised Babes Wodumo that he would release the song.
“I have hundreds of songs that are yet to be released so I am waiting for the right time. Same goes for Mampintosha. We did songs together but it wasn't the right time. I have spoken to Babes and the songs will be released,” Kabza said.
