“I don't have to say I'm very happy,” Bruce said.
“We beat Morocco, but (we're happy) not only because we're in the quarter-finals, but to beat a team like Morocco is special.

“This (Morocco) is a very good team and they have very good players. But I think we did the right analysis and the way we played, the tactics we had were right.”
The Bulls felt the first half was a shaky period for both teams.

He admitted that Bafana Bafana had a bit of luck, especially in the 85th minute when Achraf Hakimi hit the penalty spot on the crossbar.
Mokoena's superb free-kick ultimately made the game safe, but it was a harrowing encounter.

“I thought both teams were a little bit afraid of each other in the first half,” Bruce added.
“In the second half we were more open and Morocco had some chances. We scored first, which is always important.
“After that, we got a little bit lucky. Morocco started playing with all their big players forward and using high balls (up front).
“It was a very hard-fought battle and they had a few (more) chances, but after the second goal the game was over.”
Bafana Bafana will face Cape Verde in the last eight of the Afcon.
