On Tuesday night, January 30, South Africans took to social media to congratulate Bafana Bafana on their 2-0 victory over Morocco.

“Bafana Bafana are stealing the cup.”

“Patrice Motsepe and Sundowns have contributed more to South African football than SAFA has done in 30 years. We accept this cup,” he tweeted.
Brazilians reportedly dominate the Bafana team, with 10 Mamelodi Sundowns players among the 23 players in the Bafana Bafana AFCON.
Bafana defeated Morocco 2-0 in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) at the Laurent Pokou Stadium on Tuesday.
Al Jazeera South Africa will face Cape Verde in the quarter-finals on Saturday, February 3, it has been reported. South Africans congratulated the national soccer team on social media on Tuesday.
