Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams saved four out of five penalties in the AFCON (African Cup of Nations) match to upset Cape Verde.
Williams made headlines in the quarterfinals when he saved penalties from Cape Verde's Bebe, Willy Semedo, Lalos Duarte and Brian Teixeira.
South Africans called Williams a national hero and thanked him for saving the day. Leadership reports that South Africa will play Nigeria in the semi-finals on Wednesday, February 7 at 7pm.
