Jane, a lawyer, becomes a near victim during an investigation into corrupt police officers. Having changed her name and lifestyle, she stands in stark contrast to her father. Taylour Paige is excellent as the archetypal haughty, convertible-driving lawyer Jane, and reluctantly teams up with Axel. This collaboration helps repair their strained relationship. Murphy adds depth to the story by revealing the reasons for his estrangement from his family.
