Big Zulu has apologised for calling Dumi Mkokstad a boy during the Celebrity Football Game on Sunday.
The men hurled insults at each other, Imari Eningi The hitmaker's comments calling the gospel musician a boy caused a stir.
The dispute began when Dumi noticed that DJ Tira's team included professional players who were not musicians.
“GOM won unfairly by breaking two rules: they did not allow female players to play and did not have one on the team roster. The rules state that only one professional player can play at a time. GOM's team had nine players who were not eligible to play,” Mkokstad wrote.
Big Zulu said, “He has no Ubuntu. Everything is stalled because of this boy because he doesn't want to accept defeat.” This was while Nzimande was explaining in the video. He said:Wena Uyashidakerwa (You are lying.)”
The musician shared a video of himself on social media apologizing to Dumi Mkokstad and others who were offended by his words.
“Firstly, without wasting any time, I will state briefly: I sincerely apologize to all those affected by my actions and by calling Dumi a boy. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to Dumi, his wife and family. I am also sorry to Dumi's fans, followers who came to the stadium and all those who watched the tournament,” he said.
