The Seville tournament begins on Tuesday, November 12, three days after the conclusion of the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This will give the players time to travel and get used to the conditions in southern Spain. World No. 1 Swiatek missed the 2022 and 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Finals because her schedule did not allow her time to prepare following the WTA Finals in Texas and Mexico.
The first six days of the women's team competition will clash with the men's ATP Finals in Turin, but the ITF hopes the midweek semi-finals and finals will be well attended.
The drawing for the new style Billie Jean King Cup Final will be held on April 30th.
